Why We Chose Next.js as Our Standard Framework
A look back at our decision in 2020 to standardize all our front-end builds on Next.js, and why it paid off.
When Sindra was founded, the React ecosystem was fragmented. Create React App was the standard, but it suffered from terrible SEO and slow initial load times.
We bet heavily on Next.js for its hybrid static and server rendering capabilities. It allowed us to build SEO-optimized marketing sites and highly dynamic SaaS dashboards using the exact same framework and mental model.
It was the best technical decision we ever made.
